Our Clinicians

Dr. Thomas Lawrence, DC.

(Doctor of Chiropractic) (MChiro)

I’m Tom, the principal chiropractor at Goose Lane and Hollings Lane Clinics. I graduated with a Master of Chiropractic degree in 2012. Before opening Goose Lane Clinic in 2013, I worked with a fantastic team in Scunthorpe.

I run the clinics with my wife, mum and our fantastic team. We have a beautiful daughter, Rosie, who I’m sure you’ll all see at some point in the clinics getting adjusted.

When I was 12 years old, my whole family started seeing a chiropractor – I had my first adjustment and have never looked back! I find that chiropractic not only keeps me feeling at my best, but also energised and connected to life. The potential that our body’s hold amazes me every day.

When I first became a chiropractor, I was more focused around sports performance and helping athletes function at their best. I have worked with Team GB swimmers for the 2012 Olympic Games and I have taken part in a research project with the Welsh Rugby Union. Even now, I work with a range of professional and semi-professional athletes on a daily basis, which I really enjoy. Sports, however, is a small part of my practice. I love seeing the wide variety of people in our clinic community; from new born babies to elderly people, who are still very young at heart.

The reason we can do this is because chiropractic doesn’t ‘treat’ any ailment but instead helps boost a person’s natural ability to express itself to the fullest.  This could be expression in the ability to heal or the ability for someone to get the most out of their life and activities.  This is because chiropractic is safe and effective for all ages, with care being tailored completely to an individual’s case.

Seeing people positively change and get the most out of life makes me very proud of what I do. I really enjoy presenting educational chiropractic talks to the public to share my knowledge, success stories and answer any questions you may have. Drop me a line if this is of interest to you!

  • Meet Joe

My name is Joe and I hail from sunny south Devon. I have been working in Rotherham on and off over the past 2 years and I am truly enjoying serving the beautiful south Yorkshire population.

My passion for chiropractic arose when I was 16 – my brother and I both played rugby for our local team where he became very severely injured. He was recommended to see our local chiropractor; I was truly inspired by the empowering philosophy that he discussed and the joy that he had whilst serving his client base! This has in turn ignited my passion for encouraging secondary school / college students to come and observe in the clinic – inspiring the next generation of chiropractors!

You’ll find me serving joyfully and sharing the love in Wickersley and Ravenfield Monday through to Thursday (Fridays you’ll find me in the peaks)! I love meeting new people from all walks of life and helping them to understand the healing power of the human body when under fantastic chiropractic care.

  • Meet Jordane

    Hi I’m Jordane.

I’ve been at Goose Lane Clinic since I qualified from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2014. I’ve always lived in Yorkshire and currently live in Leeds; with my Fiancé Matty and our little dog Angel. (We’re all a bit dog mad here!)

I always wanted a profession where I could help and look after people, so when I found chiropractic I knew it was right for me. I enjoy helping people achieve their goals, weather that’s running a 10k or being able to play football in the garden with the kids. I’ve always loved looking after and spending time with kids too, I’m the babysitter in our growing family!  So being able to do all that at work is such a blessing.  With this I have a passion for providing care to Mums (whether pregnant or post birth) and children, from brand new babies through all walks of life.  I have completed additional specialist training in paediatrics and am always open to trying to help any new parents with advice where I can.  If not, bring your kids in for a complimentary consultation and first adjustment as we offer a special deal for children under 16.  We know how important a working nervous system for a developing and growing body!

  • Meet Matt

My name is Matt, originally from the land of Milton Keynes. I’m enjoying the fresh northern air (North for

me) and the very friendly people around these parts! I have a passion for living life to the full! I’ve given

most things a go but currently enjoy rock climbing (you’ll find me and Joe somewhere up a wall most

Wednesday mornings), mountain biking and a bit of squash when I can, but always looking to get

    involved with new groups!

Chiropractic helps me do all the things I love to do. I also have the great pleasure of providing this

fantastic care to our clinic community. I’ll usually start by finding what gets you out of bed each day and

try to help you achieve and maintain your health goals. The team here are amazing and I feel very

privileged to work alongside them as we start people on their health journeys.

I love seeing a variety of patients in our clinic community from teenagers to wrinklies, giving me an

amazing variety of people to work with. At the end of the day I really enjoy trying to help people get the

most out of their bodies! This could be through sports performance or people just wanting to sleep and

    move a bit easier.

I look forward to seeing you – let’s get your body and nervous system functioning at its best!.

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am a Chiropractic Assistant. I live in Ravenfield with my husband and 3 children.

As a Chiropractic Assistant, I not only help organise the clinicians to make sure the clinic runs as smoothly as possible, but I also get to be involved in supporting our patients through their care plans.

All of my family are adjusted at the clinics including my children and grandparents so I can advise you from my personal experiences. I love talking to our lovely patients and it’s great to be a part of such an amazing team - they’re brilliant!

  • Meet Helen

Hi my name is Helen and after being a patient at the clinic for over a year, I became a member of this amazing team! I am a Chiropractic Assistant and love supporting the team in any way I can. It's fantastic to watch the patients' journey to wellness and seeing how their lives can really change. The outcomes

from care are incredible, so much so that my partner and children have also began their health and wellness journeys with the clinics!

  • Meet Leah

Hi, my name is Leah, I’m a chiropractic technician here at the clinic and have been working for Tom and the team since July 2015. You’ll usually find me running our fantastic scanning systems and completing tests in your initial consultations and reassessments. I am lucky as even though I don’t get to see patients day on day, I do experience first hand their incredible changes from scan to scan. I love coming to work simply because it doesn’t feel like work. The team are so amazing and have quickly become my extended family, they are all so caring and supportive - I feel like together we could take on the world!

  • Meet Jess

Hello, my name is Jess and I live in Sheffield city centre with my partner Joe (one of our chiropractors who you may see around clinic!). My role here involves a bit of everything! You may see me on reception, working on the scanner, or wandering around doing some marketing bits and bobs. I also head up the community outreach programme, allowing the clinic to work with some amazing local buinesses and charities in the area. If you think you would like to help us raise money for a worthy cause or connect with us as a business, get in touch! The best thing about working here is the incredible team I work with - dedicated, friendly, and an absolute joy to be around!

  • Meet Brooke

Hi, my name is Brooke and I am a Massage Therapist here at Goose Lane & Hollings Lane clinics. I graduated from Leeds Beckett University as a Sports and Exercise Therapist in 2017 and completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Throughout this time, I was lucky enough to work with a number of professional athletes within my work placements, including footballers at Sheffield United FC and Bradford City FC, where I was able to develop my skills and knowledge. More recently I have been working with the Sheffield United football academy, providing pitch side management to the youth teams. I am passionate about working with the young athletes, seeing them progress and enjoying being active. However, this isn’t the most of my patient base I see practice members from all walks of life Being a Sports Therapist is something I have always strived towards. Over the years I have seen family and friends’ overall health, mood and energy levels affected by external stresses. I am proud to say that I am now one of the people that can help them. I thrive seeing so many people achieve a healthy and happy lifestyle and be the best version of themselves. I pride myself on being a good listener and advisor which helps to set targets and achieve goals getting the most out of your care. I look forward to meeting you and becoming a part of your journey!

  • Meet Heidi

Hi I’m Heidi! I'm one of the massage therapists in clinic. I completed a 3 year degree in Sports Therapy at the University of Birmingham,. Following this, I worked in a spa/salon setting for a year. I then met Tom and the team and have been with them since 2016. I have found being in a clinical environment is much more suited to how I want to work.

I became a sports therapist because I always knew I wanted to help people using a hands-on approach so this was a perfect career choice for me.

I really enjoy working in the clinics and find seeing such a wide range of people every day very interesting. I feel so happy when I see people achieving their health and lifestyle goals!

I am a massive Harry Potter fan and love visiting its attractions. I live with my boyfriend Jake just 10 minutes away from the clinics.

  • Meet Tom

Hi, My name is Tom and I am a Massage Therapist. From a young age, I had a passion for sport and physical activity which, with a desire to understand more, led me to graduate from Leeds Beckett University in 2016 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport & Exercise Therapy. Whilst studying, I gained great experience working with Chesterfield Football Club, Batley Bulldogs RLFC, and Leeds Beckett massage and injury clinic. Since graduating, I continued my work experience with Gateshead Football Club academy which led to my most recent role as head of the medical team at Sheffield FC where I provide care and pitch-side management for all of the teams. I do this alongside my role at Goose Lane & Hollings Lane clinics which are the perfect places to develop my knowledge and techniques in soft tissue management. As a Massage Therapist, I see my role as two-fold; caring for people with sports injuries and providing excellent care for people of all ages and physical activity levels. I am committed to helping people function at their best, whether that be to return to sport or to simply return to their every day lives. I care for everyone – don’t let my sports background put you off. I look at the body as a whole, rather than focusing on symptoms. I look forward to helping you on your journey to health.

  • Meet Sam

Hi there, my name's Sam and I'm a Clinical Sports Therapist. I've been in the health profession since 2014 and loved every second. I became a Therapist because I've always had a passion for health and wellbeing, ever since I was young. As a national swimmer from a young age I had an early start on the road to health and fitness. From my early teens I decided to pick up the weights and this became an obsession. I've done weight lifting, bodybuiliding, power lifting, crossfit, etc, you name it, I've done it! Now as a full time Sports Therapist, I fill my free time with as much weight lifting and other various sports to keep my appetite happy.

Apart from my own health goals to keep me happy, my partner in crime tends to keep my busy with cooking awesome meals, going on trips and watching Marvel films. She keeps me grounded as I like to spend a lot of my time either in the gym, or above the clouds...

Don't let the "Sports" part of my title turn you away. Our Therapy, combined with our up to date scanning techniques, is for all who need help with their health, wellbeing or for any performance improvement needs! We help people from headaches, occupational issues, general aches and day to day pains to pro athletes prepparing for competitions.

  • Meet Becky

Hi I’m Becky and I am married to the wonderful Tom.

I started as a primary teacher but decided to move to the world of chiropractic after seeing Tom and the team build and the amazing outcomes in our clinic community. I now work as one of the managers at the clinic and it’s the best decision I ever made!

My role as a manager involves a bit of everything from working on reception with our fabulous Chiropractic Assistants, scanning patients, marketing, social media and helping to ensure our patients get the best care and experience possible.

My favourite part about working at the clinics is our wonderful patients. I love chatting to everyone, hearing about what they have been getting up to and how chiropractic has changed their lives.

You won’t see me around clinic quite as often as I am busy looking after mine and Tom’s daughter Rosie who was born in June 2018. We come to clinic at least once per week to be checked and adjusted and we are always at the regular team meetings.

  • Meet Gill

My name is Gill Lawrence one of our clinic managers and along with my late husband Rob helped our

son, Tom, open Goose Lane Clinic in 2013. We are fortunate to have the most amazing staff team

who really care about improving our patient’s wellbeing. I look forward to seeing you in our clinic

but I work mainly in the back office unless you see me covering reception occasionally.

Prioritise yourself, invest in your health, and give us a call today to start your journey towards a healthier future.
